Sunday Jam October 27, 2019

Sunday Jam
Halloween themed jam with Marilyn

Song packet 10 27 19

The round robin jam on 11/3 will be a beginner friendly jam.  Lots of times beginners don’t come to round robin jams because they are afraid they’ll have to get up in front of everybody to lead.  Don’t be scared!  You do not have to get up in front of the group.  If we have enough room, we sit in a circle and play.  Everyone gets to choose a song.  Most of the time someone else knows the song, and they will be happy to get everyone started on the song for you.  In the next week I’ll be putting a beginner jam set list in the music library.  This is what we’ll use for beginner round robin jams.  You’ll have lots of time to look at the songs and practice them!   Please come!!!!!

Save the date – the Christmas party is scheduled for December 15th.  Details will follow.

It’s hard to believe we are coming to the end of 2019.   What would you like to see the club do in the next year?  Would you like to have a beginner jam the first Sunday of every month?  Would you like an advertisement page for your extra uke stuff on the website?   Are you interested in more workshops?  Are you interested in doing group performances?  Other ideas?  Our semi annual meeting will be in the beginning of January, and this is the time to express your thoughts.  If you have ideas you’d like to share, please email them to

Monterey Ukulele Club meets almost every Sunday, 4-6pm at American Burger, Lighthouse Ave. (across from Gianni’s Pizza). A $5.00 donation is requested.

This notice is only going out to the folks who have subscribed to the website.

Note:  The email posts now have advertisements at the bottom.  This is something done by WordPress, and we don’t have any control over it.
