The next Ukulele Club of Santa Cruz meeting is Thursday March 17th with special guest is Ben Ahn. You can check out Ben’s incredible Ukulele talent at (www.benahn.com). Before the meeting from 4:30-5:30 there will be a workshop. Ben will lead a Ukulele workshop called “Let Loose: A Practical Guide to Ukulele Improvisation Technique” “One of the biggest misconceptions about musical improvisation is that only a select group of innately talented people can do it well – this is simply not true.
In this course, learn left and right hand techniques that will allow you to insert your own creativity and style into any jam session.”
These ukulele workshops help support our visiting performers. $20 (Cash please)
Friends, food & drinks at 6:00. Meeting starts 7:00 Bocci’s CellarRestaurant 140 Encinal Street Santa Cruz, Calif

Note:  Patricia Bolen manages the website and jam notices. Please send your info to patricia98368@gmail.com by Tuesday night.
Monterey Ukulele Club meets almost every Sunday, 4-6pm at American Burger, Lighthouse Ave. across from Gianni’s Pizza.  A $3.00 donation is requested.
